More than 100 nonprofits hope to connect with potential board members during a Lacy Leadership Association event this afternoon in Indianapolis. Get on Board organizers say the event has led to more than 2,200 new board members since it began 10 years ago. In a Studio(i) interview, Lacy Chief Executive Officer Linda Kirby says the program also includes board training sessions. The 11th annual Get on Board event takes place today from 4:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis.

Kirby says more than 500 people have pre-registered for the event.
