The Evansville Thunderbolts have hired Jeff Bes as the team’s new head coach. Bes has 19 years of playing and coaching experience, most recently serving as head coach of the Pensacola Ice Flyers. He also served as head coach and director of hockey operations in the Fayetteville FireAntz organization.

Bes also played for various teams in several leagues, including the American Hockey League and the International Hockey League.

“I am very excited about the opportunity to coach In Evansville and looking forward to providing an exciting, hard-working hockey team the fans of Evansville deserve,” said Bes.

The Thunderbolts begin 2019-20 season play at the Ford Center in October.
