The commission will hold a series of public meetings to collect input on the strategy, which focuses on land use and future development.
The new plan replaces the current version, which was adopted in 2004. The commission will hold an initial hearing on Tuesday, November 17 at the Civic Center Complex in Evansville. Afterward, it will announce the dates, times and locations of the public meetings. The public can also give input on the Area Plan Commission website or by submitting written comments by January 8, 2016.
The commission says the plan will be updated periodically to keep it current. You can see the draft by clicking here.
