EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Kahn, Dees, Donovan & Kahn, LLP (KDDK) – an experienced full-service law firm dedicated to effectively serving the civil law needs of clients for more than 105 years – is pleased to announce that attorney Mark A. McAnulty will be made a partner effective January 1, 2015. McAnulty is an experienced labor, employment and business law attorney and litigator who serves clients in industries including manufacturing, banking and financial services, and education.

Licensed to practice in Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, and Missouri, McAnulty represents employers in administrative and judicial proceedings throughout the tri-state area. His experience includes:

-Counseling clients regarding hiring and disciplinary issues, as well as compliance with local, state and federal employment laws;

-Defending employers against discrimination/harassment claims involving race, age, national origin, and disability in state and federal administrative hearings and lawsuits;

-Advising employers in complying with the Family and Medical Leave Act;

-Representing employers in enforcement of arbitration agreement issues in federal and state courts;

-Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, severance agreements, non-compete agreements, employment policies, and employee handbooks;

-Advising employers on federal and state wage and hour issues; and

-Advising and representing employers in labor management, union campaigns, unfair labor practice charges, and union avoidance matters.

McAnulty serves on the board of directors of the Legal Aid Society of Evansville and Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra. He is a member of the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana, Owensboro Human Resources Association, Evansville-Area Human Resource Association, Evansville Bar Association, Brooks American Inn of Court, and Rotary Club of Evansville, and has been active in the past with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ohio Valley, Historic Reitz Home Museum, Vanderburgh County Law Library Association, and YMCA Outreach Board.

McAnulty earned his Bachelor's Degree from Murray State University, Murray, Kentucky, in 1992, and his Juris Doctor from Southern Illinois University School of Law, Carbondale, Illinois, in 1995. He resides in Owensboro, Kentucky.
