ET Works Acquired by French Company

ET Works manufactures and sells self-propelled sprayers.

Mooresville-based ET Works LLC has been acquired by Paris-based EXEL Industries. The Indiana company, also known as Equipment Technologies, manufactures self-propelled sprayers for farm fields.

EXEL says ET Works will continue to operate with its current management in place and maintain its headquarters in Mooresville. The company employs 170 staff in its manufacturing and selling facilities.

"This strategic acquisition for EXEL Industries Group strongly increases our presence in North America, the world’s biggest ag-machinery market," said EXEL chief executive officer Guerric Ballu. "ET Works will benefit from EXEL’s distribution networks in other parts of the world and from EXEL’s innovative technologies to enhance its product range."

ET Works CEO Matt Hayes says being part of EXEL will make them well-positioned to support their customers’ needs in the future.
