Eskenazi Health in Indianapolis says it will unveil a "groundbreaking initiative" today. The organization says this morning’s announcement has the potential to "change the standard of health care" for its patients.
This morning’s event is set for 10:00 a.m. at the Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis. Eskenazi says the announcement will feature medical, community and philanthropic leaders.
At the end of 2014, Eskenazi Health marked its one-year anniversary in the Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital and Eskenazi Health campus. At the time, Chief Medical Officer Chris Weaver said the organization had "exceeded expectations" in its first year. The campus was funded by a $40 million gift from Sidney and Lois Eskenazi, announced in 2011.
