Ernst & Young Names Managing Partner

Scott Bruns for the position, succeeding Derrick Burks, who will retire at the end of the firm’s fiscal year on June 30, 2017.
The firm says Burks will continue to serve clients and work closely with Bruns during the transition. Bruns’ responsibilities will include developing and engaging talent, creating high-performance teams, driving market leadership and amplifying branding and engagement efforts within the community.

Bruns previously served as assurance leader for the central region life sciences market segment for Ernst & Young. He will also continue to serve clients in the life sciences industry.
