EP Graphics To Acquire Kansas Company
Berne-based EP Graphics has announced plans to acquire a more than century-old printing company in Kansas. Financial terms of the deal for McCormick Armstrong were not disclosed, however EP Graphics says the two companies will transition to the EP Graphics plant in Adams County.
EP Graphics says the acquisition will expand what is already the largest Indiana-based web printer. The company will maintain a sales and customer service office in Wichita to continue service for McCormick Armstrong clients in the area.
"McCormick Armstrong is a great strategic and cultural fit with EP Graphics," Tyler Kitt, chief executive officer of EP Graphics, said in a news release. "Our operations complement each other and we share a commitment to quality on-time delivery solutions. The addition of McCormick Armstrong to EP Graphics continues the strategic commitment to quality, its customers and staff the Muselman family began years ago."
Jake Shaffer, CEO of McCormick Armstrong, says he will retire after 54 years with the company once the transition is complete. EP Graphics did not specify whether any jobs would be affected by the acquisition.
