Fort Wayne-based Vera Bradley Inc. (Nasdaq: VRA) has named John Enwright executive vice president and chief financial officer. Enwright has served as interim CFO since March, following the departure of Kevin Sierks.
Enwright joined Vera Bradley in 2014 and, in addition to his interim CFO duties, most recently served as vice president of financial planning and analysis. Chief Executive Officer Robert Wallstrom says the company is "very fortunate" to have Enwright become the permanent CFO.
"In the three years since he joined our Company, John has proven himself to not only be financially astute but also strategic and forward-thinking," said Wallstrom. "John’s expertise and leadership will be critical as we continue to navigate through this challenging retail environment and work to make Vera Bradley a more efficient and more profitable organization."
Prior to joining Vera Bradley, Enwright held a variety of positions at New York-based Tiffany & Co. (NYSE: TIF).
