Entertainment Center Coming to Schererville

A new 43,380 square-foot entertainment center with bowling, an upscale restaurant and bar, an arcade and more is coming to Schererville. Our partners at The Times of Northwest Indiana report the developers behind JAK’s Warehouse plan to invest at least $2.2 million in construction at a former Menards.
The plans dictate the center will include 20 bowling lanes, an arcade with 60 video games and a 5,000-square-foot Lasertron arena. The restaurant aims to seat 500.
"It’s more adult entertainment with bowling, a bar, a restaurant, electronic gaming and party rooms," Schererville Town Manager Robert Volkmann told the publication. "It’s more entertainment and dining for the Region that’s definitely trying to build upon the movie theaters across the street."
Construction on the site is underway, and is slated to take at least a year.
