Ennis Elected Economic Development Board Chair

Ennis has served the Northwest Indiana Forum since 2014. She also serves on the boards of the United Way of Porter County and Porter Health Care System. She previously served as the 2019 Legislative Committee Chair for the Indiana Economic Development Association.
The Northwest Indiana Forum focuses on business leadership and regional economic development. The organization has more than 140 members and serves Lake, Porter, LaPorte, Starke, Jasper Newton and Pulaski Counties.
The organization’s other focuses include job creation, local business and creating a sustainable regional economy.
“Heather’s election as the chair of IEDA is evidence of the high regard her peers have for her,” said Lee Lewellen, president and chief executive officer for the IEDA and IEDA Foundation, “and how highly they value the leadership and vision she will bring to the organization.”
