Energy Systems Network in National Spotlight

The lab will allow for testing and certification for most performance

A national industry magazine has named Indiana’s Energy Systems Network one of its "Top 10 Vendors to Watch in Smart Grid." Energy CIO Insights cited the network’s collaborative projects with companies and organizations including Duke Energy Indiana, Toyota Motor Corp. and the Battery Innovation Center.

ESN’s collaborative projects include a North American pilot of the Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle to test new technologies and standards, a partnership with Toshiba focusing on its MicroEMS microgrid controls system and a microgrid lab developed with the Battery Innovation Center at the WestGate @ Crane Technology Park.
