Newburgh-based Energy Systems Group on Monday announced Jeff Blum as its new CEO. Blum most recently served as a senior vice president with elevator and escalator company Kone.
The sustainable infrastructure and energy services company said the position is a new addition to its leadership team and reflects its commitment to growth.
“Energy Systems Group is an incredible company known for transforming facilities and infrastructure through our brilliant people, with a strong track record of delighting our customers and creating a great work environment for all our team members,” Blum said in a news release. “I look forward to working alongside ESG’s talented team to build on this strong foundation and accelerate the company’s positive impact to our customers and the communities we serve.”
ESG said Blum is well-positioned to drive the company’s next phase of expansion. The appointment comes less than a year after ESG merged with California-based PacificWest Energy Solutions and acquired Yearout Energy Services in New Mexico.
“With the recent integration of Yearout Energy and PacificWest Energy Solutions, ESG is now a larger and more robust energy and infrastructure solutions provider, uniquely positioned to serve customers across an expanded geographic footprint,” Blum said.
ESG provides energy and infrastructure services for clients in the education, government, health care, commercial, and industrial sectors.
