An east central Indiana economic development organization has elected its 2015 officers. Energize-ECI Inc. says Rob Cleveland will serve as chairman of the board.

MUNCIE, Ind. – Energize-ECI, Inc., a regional economic development organization representing 10 counties in East Central Indiana, held its annual meeting on January 22, 2015 at the Ball State Alumni Center and elected officers for the 2015 calendar year.

The following individuals will serve one year terms: Chairman of the Board – Rob Cleveland, Indiana Michigan Power, Vice Chairman of the Board- Susan Reed, Indiana Municipal Power Agency, Past Chairman of the Board – Lori Luther, IU Health/Ball Memorial Hospital, Treasurer – John Fallon, Ball State University Building Better Communities and Secretary – Karen Karmolinski, First Merchants Bank.

“I am honored to be named chairman of the partnership and excited to participate in further developing the economy throughout East Central Indiana.” stated Cleveland. “ Stronger economies strengthen communities, and boosting the East Central Indiana economy is key to both my role with Indiana Michigan Power as well as my new position with the regional partnership. ECI is poised for growth, and I&M’s efforts to enhance its infrastructure in the area is one of the reasons. I look forward to positive changes in the organization that will help boost the region’s business climate.”About Energize-ECI:
