Indianapolis-based Endangered Species Chocolate has hired Tod Dalberg as director of brand & marketing. He previously served as vice president of marketing at Simon Property Group. In his new role, Dalberg is responsible for developing all brand and marketing opportunities for the natural chocolate company.

He has more than 25 years of marketing and business development experience to the company. As an executive in the retail space, Dalberg has driven innovation and developed cutting-edge marketing programs that have built companies into strong profitable brands. He also has developed strategic partnerships with global brands like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Mars, Visa, American Express, ABC Network, Disney Channel, Michael Kors, Porsche Design, Hugo Boss, Universal Music and Distribution, 20th Century Fox, Warner Bros. Studio and many more.

The company, a category leader in specialty chocolate products, recruited Dalberg to develop and implement its new brand and marketing strategy to expand its current consumer base, reach new customer segments and deliver research and promotions to retailers nationwide.

Endangered Species Chocolate, which donates 10 percent of its yearly net profits to support wildlife conservation partners, provides a promising outlook for new and developing opportunities alike; especially as the company prepares to launch new products and reinvigorate its 3 oz. chocolate bars.
