Indiana Emergency Medical Services for Children has named Josee Miller, a paramedic for Franciscan Health Indianapolis, as one of its Healthcare Heroes for Children. She was recognized because of her “dedication to ensuring high-quality pediatric emergency care.”

Miller started working with Franciscan Health in 2013. She serves as clinical coordinator for EMS education and is clinical coordinator for her department. Miller oversees more than 60 EMS providers and schedules employee shifts and students clinical experiences in the field and hospital. She also has been involved in managing Franciscan Health’s education outreach to area fire departments.
