Emmis Communications has named Taja Graham as its new Indianapolis Radio Market President. Graham has served in several sales and promotions roles in her 22 years at Emmis, most recently as vice president of sales, and now becomes deputy market manager as the company’s current market manager, Bob Richards, transitions from the role.

“Bob approached us last year with this plan and strongly endorsed Taja to succeed him in the role,” said Emmis Chairman and CEO Jeff Smulyan. “Taja has been a huge part of creating our winning culture at Emmis. Her commitment to building and developing great teams is directly correlated with our top-ranked position in the Indianapolis market.”

Graham holds a degree from Butler University. She officially takes over her new duties on March 1.
