Elwood Marks Opening of Warner Bodies Facility

The custom truck manufacturer announced its plans last year to invest $3 million to move from Hamilton County to the former Plastech building. The expansion is expected to create around 150 jobs. During an interview last year with Inside INdiana Business, Mayor Ron Arnold called it the city's biggest jobs announcement in more than 25 years.
He said the and local school corporations have been partnering to tailor career center offerings to match the needs of the employer.
Arnold also added the new jobs can help Elwood “grow” its way out of recent population declines.
