The Downtown Crossing news conference will be held in Jeffersonville.
Crews started construction on the Downtown Crossing in the summer of 2013. The bridge will connect downtown Louisville and Jeffersonville, and run parallel to the existing Kennedy Bridge. Officials say work is expected to be finished in 2016.
Meanwhile, the East End Crossing project is currently under construction. Officials say the East End Crossing will be located eight miles upstream and connect Prospect, Kentucky and Utica, Indiana.
