The Aspen Institute has selected Sue Ellspermann to join the 2020-21 inaugural class of the Aspen New Presidents Fellowship. She became the ninth president of lvy Tech Community College in 2016. Prior to that, Ellspermann served as lieutenant governor of lndiana from 2013 to 2016. 

She was one of 25 Aspen Fellows selected from more than 100 applicants. The initiative is designed to support community college presidents in the early years of their tenure to accelerate transformational change on behalf of students.
