ELKHART, Ind. — Elkhart-based Furrion, a manufacturer of technology products for the recreational vehicle, marine and consumer industries, is partnering with New York-based Stampede to distribute Furrion OEM and Consumer products. The partnership will officially kick off in January.
Furrion says the deal will set the company up with the infrastructure it needs to support growing demand and expansion into the global consumer industry. Distribution will be handled out of Stampede’s warehouse and logistics center in South Bend, as well as its facility in Phoenix, Arizona for west coast customers.
"Furrion continues to outperform competitors with innovation and design that defies expectation, and this is where we want to keep our focus," said Aaron Fidler, co-founder and chief executive officer for Furrion. "Partnering with Stampede, a company known for its logistical efficiencies and a greater than 99.8 percent on-time delivery rating, will enable Furrion to scale globally, optimize efficiencies and deliver the best service to our customers. Together, we aim to become the most efficient and organized logistics provider to the marine and specialty vehicle industry.”
Furrion says it will continue to service RV and marine customers directly with sales and support from its Elkhart headquarters. Stampede says it is one of the largest national distributors and serves more than 20,000 resellers in North America.
