Services are set for this weekend in Miami for the wife of a former Eli Lilly and Co. (NYSE: LLY) chief executive officer. Kathy Taurel was involved in many charitable organizations including the International School of Indiana and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Lilly has issued a statement describing her as “a gracious and welcoming presence” at many events. Taurel was 58. She is survied by her husband Sidney, three children, two grandchildren, her parents and other family and friends.

Services are planned for Sunday at Lakeside Memorial Park in Miami, Florida.

The park says in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the International School of Indiana or the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
