Elevate Ventures Growing NE IN Partnership Elevate Ventures contributed to the round of funding.

Elevate Ventures and the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership will next month detail a multi-million-dollar expansion of their partnership. Stakeholders including Huntington University, Parkview Health and Old National Bank will take part in the October 2 announcement in Fort Wayne.

Elevate Ventures says partnerships like this are essential because, while Indiana is often lauded for its business environment, "the state’s entrepreneurship and innovation performance is failing to keep pace." The organization’s current statewide partnerships include Startup South Bend Elkhart, 1804 in south central Indiana as well as a partnership in southwest Indiana. Elevate Ventures says it is exploring additional potential partnerships throughout the state.

The announcement is set for Monday, October 2 at the 1st Source Building in Fort Wayne. Companies, universities and organizations involved include:

  • Ambassador Enterprises
  • Fort Wayne Metals
  • Huntington University
  • Lake City Bank (NE)
  • Michael Davids
  • Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership’s Regional Opportunities Council
  • Old National Bank
  • Olive B. Cole Foundation Inc.
  • Parkview Health
  • Trine University
  • Ultra Electronics

It wasn't a matter of "if" we would be pushed into a recession but how bad the recession would be. Nearly two years into the steepest increase in interest rates in over 40 years, can we now say we've achieved a soft landing? Or is this a delayed economic response with a 2024 recession certain to come?...
