Our partners at WPTA-TV report the general contractor has begun interior and exterior work and is sharing some of the efforts through videos.
Fort Wayne-based Weigand Construction has produced a short video and posted it online, which the company says will allow the public to follow the journey.
Weigand says it will have monthly video updates over the next 18 months as it transforms the former General Electric campus into a commercial and entertainment complex.
“It’s a great way to kind of show monthly progress on site. It’s a large site so it’s a way to get that holistic view of what’s really going on out here and how much is going on here and what we’re all touching at a single time,” said Cody Michaud, senior project manager with Weigand Construction.
Phase one of the multi-million-dollar project is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2022.
