The Economic Development Corporation Michigan City has added Michigan City Mayor Duane Parry (pictured) and City Council Liaison Angie Nelson Deuitch (pictured) to its board of directors. Three other community leaders are also joining the board: Katie Eaton, John Hendricks and John Beutner. Eaton serves as president of the Michigan City Chamber of Commerce. Hendricks works at NIPSCO, while  Beutner serves in management for Captain Ed’s Furniture Showroom.
