Governor Eric Holcomb and Gary Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson will join executives from Pittsburgh-based United States Steel Corp. (NYSE: X) for the event.
The announcement will take place at 11:00 a.m. Central Time at the U.S. Steel Gary Works Administrative Building. No other details have been released.
Gary Works is U.S. Steel’s largest manufacturing plant, according to the company’s website. The operation, which includes steelmaking and finishing facilities, can produce 7.5 million net tons of raw steel each year.
