Union City-based Eco-Vehicle Systems has appointed Mike Talaga general manager. He has been a successful automotive industry executive for more than 40 years, most recently serving as vice president of operations for Cooper-Standard for the last 12 years. Talaga also spent 10 years with United Technologies Automotive and 10 years with Prestolite, where he held various leadership positions ranging from quality assurance manager to general manager. He will be responsible for all of the Eco-Vehicle Systems operations. Talaga holds an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University.
