Eastern Indiana Business Hall of Famers to be Honored

Subscribe NowJunior Achievement of KOI will induct three Richmond area leaders Thursday into the Eastern Indiana Business Hall of Fame. Honorees include the patriarch of a Wayne County car dealership family, a former president of Richmond-based Primex Plastics Corp. and a prominent attorney.
- Lynn Wetzel and his family moved to Richmond in the late 1990s and began buying car dealerships after longterm success in the business in Pennsylvania. Wetzel Auto Group currently includes five Richmond dealerships: Chevrolet, Honda, Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, Ford and a fleet-focused location.
- The late Paul Bertsch was a plastics industry professional who worked his way up from an entry-level position in a California plastic facility to eventually becoming president and chairman of the Primex board before retiring. He was instrumental in expanding the Richmond facilities.
- Bob Bever, vice president of title and real estate insurance business Abstracts in Richmond, served as city attorney from 1995 until 2003. He was also an architect of the merger that formed Boston Bever Klinge Cross & Chidester, which is the region’s largest law firm.
