Our partners at The Times of Northwest Indiana report the first phase of the effort involves new amenities and infrastructure improvements at Jeorse Park. Improvements to the park include a splash pad, picnic shelters, lighting and landscaping.
Mayor Anthony Copeland says the project is part of about $30 million the city is making in infrastructure work and other improvements.
