The chief executive officer of Conexus Indiana has announced his retirement. Steven Dwyer has led Indiana’s advanced manufacturing and logistics industry initiative since 2009, and helped launch Conexus as a founding board member in 2007. Dwyer previously served as chief operating officer of Rolls-Royce Corp. in Indianapolis. He spent 30 years in the aerospace and defense industries.

North Carolina-based Jorgenson Consulting Inc. has been hired by Conexus Indiana to assist in the search for Dwyer’s successor. Conexus Indiana says it has created three industry-led councils over the last 10 years focusing on aerospace and defense, automotive and logistics. In that time it has also developed a supplier database to connect global buyers to Indiana suppliers and advanced manufacturing and logistics-focused curriculum and job experiences for 8,000 Hoosier students.
