Minnesota-based Dungarvin Inc. has acquired Companion Care Co. in a transaction it says will "significantly expand the size of Dungarvin Indiana operations."
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Dungarvin says CCC has about 275 employees, nearly all of whom will continue with Dungarvin Indiana.
"We are delighted to welcome CCC in to the Dungarvin family," said Dave Toeniskoetter, chief executive officer of Dungarvin. "CCC shares a similar mission and philosophy with Dungarvin, providing an array of high-quality services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Assimilating CCC into Dungarvin will complement our existing service base nicely."
Dungarvin’s website says it provides support to nearly 1,000 people throughout Indiana. The company has locations in 14 states.
