Our partners at The Times of Northwest Indiana report it includes two office buildings with six stories and a total of 380,000 square feet as part of a 27-acre campus development.
The buildings would house as many as 1,000 professionals.
The drawing was crafted by Carmel-based Wabash Scientific Inc. President Michael Shaver. It also includes an additional 18 undeveloped acres that are in danger of flooding from the Little Calumet River.
The town owns the 50-acre former Griffith Golf Course property. The Times reports it was purchased for $500,000 and is vacant. Griffith is attempting to gain federal permission to move an existing levee and build a new one in its place. That process could take two years.
