Downtown Indy has named Courtney Howell events director. The Ball State University graduate most recently served as event production director for Pacers Sports & Entertainment.

Indianapolis, Ind. — Downtown Indy has named Courtney Howell as its new events director. She will manage the day-to-day aspects of Georgia Street and programs designed to enhance Georgia Street as a destination, along with other key public spaces Downtown.

Howell previously worked for Pacers Sports & Entertainment as the event production director since 2001. She graduated from Ball State University and is a Downtown Indy resident.
