Downtown Indy Inc. is launching a search for its next president and chief executive officer. Earlier this year, Sherry Seiwert stepped down at the end of April after ten years in the role.
The organization is now accepting applications for the position, which it says is responsible for leading efforts to support a “vibrant, economically resilient downtown community.”
“This search for Downtown Indy, Inc.’s next leader comes at a transformational moment for the organization and our community,” said DII Board Chair Bill Browne. “We are seeing unprecedented investment and development Downtown, thousands of new residents are choosing Downtown as their home, and the excitement around our centers and districts is electric. We look forward to finding a leader who can capitalize on this momentum and take this organization to new heights.”
The nonprofit says the Indianapolis-based search is chaired by DII board member Krista Skidmore of Flashpoint Leadership. In addition, members of the search committee include DII board chair Bill Browne of RATIO Architects, board member Adairius Gardner of IU Health, and board member Perry Griffith of Denison Parking, among others.
Applications are being accepted through July 18. You can connect to the job description by clicking here.
