Downtown Indy Inc. has named Emma Bennett events manager. She most recently worked as development events manager for the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites. Bennett is a graduate of IUPUI and holds a bachelor of science in tourism, convention and event management. Prior to that, she served as an account executive and travel director for Grueninger Cruises & Tours Inc.

In this new position, Bennett is responsible for helping manage events on Georgia Street and the Canal Walk. She will help coordinate Downtown Indy, Inc. events including Workout Wednesdays, Food Truck Fridays, Motorcycles on Meridian and others, as well as third-party rental events on Georgia Street and the Canal Walk.
