Senator Joe Donnelly (D-IN) will today host the ranking member of the Senate Armed Services committee at Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane. Senator Jack Reed (D-RI) will tour a microelectronics laboratory and other exhibits featuring work being done at the naval installation.

The senators will be joined by representatives including NSWC Crane Technical Director Brett Seidle, Radius Indiana President and Chief Executive Officer Jeff Quyle and WestGate@Crane Authority President John Mensch.

Reed, a West Point graduate and former Army Ranger, is the latest national leader to come to Crane at Donnelly’s invitation. Previous guests include former Secretary of Defense Ash Carter, Chief of Staff of the Air Force General David Goldfein, Commandant of the Marine Corps General Robert Neller and U.S. Chief of naval Operations Admiral John Richardson.
