Don Brown to Headline Life Sciences Presentation

One of the biggest names in the state’s technology scene will deliver a keynote address Friday at a life sciences industry event. Don Brown, who founded and sold Software Artistry and Interactive Intelligence and launched a third company in 2016, LifeOmic, will headline The Changing Business of Healthcare conference at the Roche Diagnostics corporate headquarters in Indianapolis. The event is part of the Indiana University Kelley School of Business Indiana Life Sciences Collaboration Conference Series.
Brown’s presentation will be titles "Better Late than Never: Technology Is Finally Poised to Disrupt Healthcare." The IU graduate founded and later sold his first startup called Dealership Programming Inc. while he was enrolled in the MD/Ph.D. program at the IU School of Medicine.
In 2016, Brown’s $30 million donation to the IU School of Medicine helped launch the Brown Immunotherapy Center in Indianapolis. Other speakers at the event will include PwC U.S. Health Services Sector Leader Gurpreet Singh, Roche Diagnostics Vice President of Diagnostics Information Solutions Ketan Paranjape and Intermountain Health Senior Population Health Consultant Mike Mann.
