Domestic Violence Network Adds to Team

She will work on teen dating violence, sexual assault and stalking curriculum research, development, implementation and evaluation. Gurganus previously worked at the Indiana State Department of Health as director of Maternal and Child Health Epidemiology. She received her Master’s of Public Health in Epidemiology from Indiana University.
Colleen Curtin (pictured) has been hired as youth program coordinator. She will be conducting education in schools and community centers across central Indiana focusing on teen dating, sexual violence and healthy relationships. Curtin previously worked as a case manager at Outreach Inc. and attended Marian University.
Also, Cecily Johnson (pictured) has been named training services coordinator. She will be working with the director of community engagement to facilitate training, and work on DVN’s community-wide plan. Johnson previously worked for Nevada Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence as a program specialist where she managed a grant project for elder abuse through the State of Nevada Office of Attorney General and U.S. Office of Violence Against Women. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Georgia State University with a Master’s of Social Work.
