Subscribe NowThe month-long Dine Safe December campaign from the Indiana Restaurant and Lodging Association has begun in an effort to re-educate the state about the Hoosier Hospitality Promise. The promise was originally launched in April as a set of guidelines to safely allow Hoosiers to go out to eat.
Visit Indiana worked to expand the promise with the InRLA from the hospitality industry to all Hoosier businesses, which have made the promise to follow safety directions outlined by the Centers for Disease Control, National Restaurant Association, American Hotel & Lodging Association and all levels of government.
“Restaurants need our help to survive, especially through the winter when outdoor seating options are basically nonexistent. Having our family gatherings in safe and regulated restaurants is a simple way to aid our local business owners and their many employees while being able to safely enjoy the holidays with loved ones,” said InRLA President and Chief Executive Officer Patrick Tamm.
Several businesses are offering discounts to customers who promise to do their share to limit the spread of the coronavirus. A database of statewide participating businesses can be found here.
