The founder of a Fishers-based startup says his company is poised for growth over the next few years. Jason Hutcheson, chief executive officer of Iconic Digital Marketing, says the company began with two employees and is planning to grow to 15 by the end of 2017. He says the growth has led the company to graduate out of Launch Fishers and into its own facility.
The company started with just one client and now serves more than 120 clients. Hutcheson tells Inside INdiana Business the trajectory on which Iconic Digital has found itself was never in his original plans.
"The plan was find a business that’s going to provide a job for you and a stable amount of income and now it’s morphed a different goal, which is to hire 20 to 40 people here over the next five years," said Hutcheson. "We are also starting to work with the state a little bit. We have a game plan and a model that we believe will scale."
Hutcheson says starting Iconic Digital in Launch Fishers has been an "accelerator" to the company’s success. "Over the years and working with the people of Launch Fishers, not only the staff and the leadership, but also a lot of the members, we’ve gotten the chance to really see what it takes to be successful and to look at greater things, to look at bigger goals, to look at opportunities, to overreach and really go for something bigger."
Hutcheson says he is working with the state which, along with the launch of new products and services in the next few months, will help position Iconic Digital for more growth over the next five years.
