Members of the Vigo County Capital Improvement Board will today update progress on a planned convention center in Terre Haute. Nations Group, which is developing the project, will also provide the most recent renderings for the project.

Late last year, the CIB identified a site near 8th Street and Wabash Avenue for the project, with additional land being donated. Plans also call for a hotel on the site. An initial site with Indiana State University was previously considered but fell through.

The event is set for 5:30 Tuesday afternoon.
