A historic downtown Indianapolis building that has been vacant for around a decade could get another chance. An affiliate of Keystone Realty Group has purchased the Illinois Building. It is located near the Indiana Statehouse at Illinois and Market Streets. Chief Executive Officer Ersal Ozdemir tells Inside INdiana Business the company has received “numerous calls” from hotel developers interested in the property.

He says they will explore many options for its use during the next several months.

It was built in the 1920s and has been owned by Indianapolis-based HDG Mansur Capital Group LLC.
