Bob Leonard has been named DePauw University’s interim vice president for finance and administration. He has more than 30 years of business experience including strategy, business development, finance and operations.  

Leonard will join the DePauw administration as Brad Kelsheimer, senior vice president for finance and administration since July 2009, leaves to become chief financial officer of the Lumina Foundation. Leonard has served as a partner with the big four accounting firm KPMG and held executive positions including president, COO, CFO with At-A-Glance Consumer Products, a leading publisher of pictorial calendars and posters. He has also held executive management positions with two entrepreneurial, web-based, start-up companies (one which he co-founded), and most recently served as a consultant to both C-suite executives and entrepreneurs. Leonard holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana University and has been previously certified (no longer practicing) as a public accountant and personal financial specialist.

Renee Madison ’95, senior advisor to the president for diversity and compliance and Title IX coordinator at DePauw, will be tasked with oversight of human resources at DePauw, which was previously done by the vice president for finance and administration.
