DePauw University has named Deedie Dowdle (pictured) vice president of marketing and communications. Ken Owen (pictured) will continue to oversee the school’s media relations efforts and serve as spokesman. DePauw has also named Elreo "Reo" Campbell its new financial aid director and Mellasenah Morris interim dean of the School of Music.

Dowdle will begin her new role September 3. She currently serves as associate vice president for university communications and marketing at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. 

Campbell most recently served as director of financial aid and associate dean of admissions and financial aid at Colby College before joining DePauw July 3.

Dr. Morris recently retired as dean of the Peabody Conservatory and will start August 1.
