Grants Funding Statewide Water Projects

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources says 33 projects in 25 counties will share in nearly $1.3 million in grants. The funding through the Lake and River Enhancement program will support projects including erosion control and upgrading aquatic habitats.
DNR Director of Fish & Wildlife Mark Reiter says the funding is a win for Hoosiers throughout the state, saying they will "improve aquatic habitat, reduce erosion and sedimentation and create improved opportunities for boating and fishing."
