Democrats Pick Statewide Nominees

Indiana Democrats have filled out the party’s statewide ticket for the November election. During its state convention over the weekend, the party made nominations for governor, lieutenant governor, superintendent of public instruction and attorney general.
State Representative Christina Hale (D-87) will run for lieutenant governor alongside John Gregg in November. Gregg named Hale his running mate in May, calling her "a partner who shares my commitment to working across the aisle to get things done." served as chief communications officer for Kiwanis International before going into politics.
The party renominated Glenda Ritz to run for superintendent and former Lake Circuit Judge Lorenzo Arrendondo for attorney general. Both were unopposed.
Republicans filled their ticket earlier this month. They include Lieutenant Governor Eric Holcomb to run with Governor Mike Pence, Elkhart County Prosecutor Curtis Hill to run for attorney general and Yorktown Community Schools Superintendent Jennifer McCormick to run for superintendent.
