Delaware County Business Parks Deemed Fiber-Ready

Four business parks in Delaware County have been certified AT&T Fiber Ready. AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) says the locations, three in Muncie and one in Yorktown, are the first in the county to receive the designation for their high-speed Internet connectivity.
The Muncie-Delaware County Economic Development Alliance was on hand Tuesday for the announcement of the designations. The recipients include Airpark Industrial Park, Industria Centre Industrial Park and Certified Technology Park in Muncie, as well as Park One Business Park in Yorktown.
"The AT&T Fiber Ready designation shines the spotlight on our modern communications services; it will be a valuable tool in local efforts to create and retain jobs," said Delaware County Commissioner Sherry Riggin. "Delaware County has so many assets that make it attractive to investors, and connectivity is an important one."
Jud Fisher, chair of the Delaware Advancement Corp. Board, says the designations will help the county "make the most of opportunities to bring jobs and investment to the area."
This is the first time in Indiana that AT&T has announced four Fiber Ready locations at once. The announcement brings the total of Fiber Ready locations throughout the state to 15.
