DeKalb County EDP Names Executive Director

The DeKalb County Economic Development Partnership Inc. has a new leader. The organization’s board of directors has promoted Anton King to executive director.
King succeeds Ken McCrory, who announced his retirement in October. King previously served as project specialist for the organization where he worked on industrial expansions, site selection, attraction, marketing and product inventory.
"Anton has been a valuable asset to the ED partnership since he began as an intern," said Amy Demske, board president. "He jumped in with enthusiasm and has helped promote DeKalb County on a new level. Ken has laid the foundation and the board is ready to continue under the leadership of Anton. Anton has been a great addition to the partnership and his personal interaction has been fantastic."
King is a graduate of Trine University in Angola and the organization says he will be attending the Indiana Economic Development Course at Ball State University in January.
