Purdue@WestGate says the 14,000-square-foot ManTech Conference Center at the academy, which is part of the WestGate@Crane Technology Park, has been one of the main sources of income for the tech park during the pandemic.
ManTech’s sponsorship is now on display as visitors enter the event center. Specific financial details of the sponsorship were not disclosed.
Purdue@Westgate says the sponsorship supports the WestGate Authority’s economic development mission.
“ManTech is extremely proud to be a part of the Crane ecosystem and we understand that the WestGate Academy plays a very important role in the community,” said Jim Hanley, vice president and division manager for ManTech’s Naval Aviation Division. “This sponsorship represents ManTech’s continued investment in and commitment to that community – and to bringing new technology and advancing strategic objectives within the Tech Park and NSWC Crane.”
ManTech provides advanced technological services to the U.S. Government. ManTech is currently in the process of developing a 72,000-square-foot building within the Technology Park.
“We appreciate ManTech’s investment in the region,” said Jason Salstrom, director Purdue@WestGate. “We look forward to growing our collaboration, developing access to talent and research capabilities, thereby supporting ManTech’s growth as a keystone of the WestGate ecosystem.”
