Indianapolis-based DEFENDERS has named Cathy George and Dave Browne partners. George has been with the company for nearly 10 years and is controller and director of accounting. She recently led major projects for the company, including Interest Rate Swap, IRS Audits and switching to a new credit card processing company. George is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Indiana CPA Society. She also supports the Children’s Bureau, Wayland’s Warriors and the Cancer Support Community.

Browne serves as executive vice chairman of its board of directors. He is a former CEO of multiple companies. Most notably is LensCrafters, where Browne was instrumental in driving growth, profitability and creating a unique service culture. He also serves on the boards of Athletes In Action, the world’s largest sports ministry, and Heart of the Outdoors.
